Our take

Navajo State Park has five campgrounds totaling 142 sites along Navajo Reservoir in southwest Colorado, about 42 miles southeast of Durango. Rosa Campground has full hookup RV sites, Carracas has electric-only sites, and other loops such as Windsurf Beach and Arboles Point are more primitive. Three rustic cabins are also available. Good for campers looking for water sports access in a less crowded corner of the state.
